 finally[5fainli] adv.最后，终于：She finally agreed with me. 她最终同意了我(的意见)。

【辨析】finally, at last与in the end：1.三者均可表示经过一些曲折、拖延、等候等的“最后”或“终于”，有时可换用：I tried hard and finally [at last, in the end] I managed it. 我努力试了，并且终于成功了。2.表示先后顺序的“最后”或用于列举事物引出“最后”一项内容时，通常只用 finally：Finally he thanked them and took his leave. 最后他向他们道了谢就离开了。/ First I get dressed, next I bring in the paper, then I feed the cat, and finally I fix my breakfast. 我首先穿好衣，接着就拿来报纸，然后再喂猫，最后我准备早餐。3.谈论将来的事情时，通常要用 in the end：I’m sure everything will turn out all right in the end. 我相信最后一切都会好起来的。

finance[5fainAns] n.1.[U]财政，金融，财政学：People who work in banks know about finance. 在银行工作的人懂金融。2.(用复数)资金，财力，经费：Are the firm’s finances sound? 这家公司的财力可靠吗? vt.为…提供资金：Who finances the organization? 谁为这个组织提供经费?

find[faind] (found, found) vt. 1.找到，发现：We’ve found oil under the South China Sea. 我们在南海发现了石油。2.感到，发觉：They found her a sensible woman. 他们发觉她是个明理的女人。

【辨析】find与find out：1. find主要指偶然发现或通过寻找而找到某人或某物等，find out主要表示通过调查或观察询问等而查明情况或弄清事实真相等。2. find有时也可指发现某一事实或某一情况等，但它仍与find out不同：后者往往暗示通过调查或观察询问等方式去查明情况或弄清事实等，而前者则没有此意味，如下面一句就不宜用find out：I found the baby (was) asleep. 我发现这婴儿睡着了。
