fight 的用法与搭配

1. 用作动词，表示“与……斗争(或战斗)”，以下三类表达大致同义:

士兵们勇敢地同敌人作战。

正：The soldiers fought the enemy bravely.

正：The soldiers fought with the enemy bravely.

正：The soldiers fought against the enemy bravely.

用于此义时，fight with 与 fight against 大致同义，但用后者语气更强。但除此用法外，fight with 还有一些其它的用法，此时不能与 fight against 替换。如：

The children fought with snow-balls. 孩子们打雪战。

England fought with France against Germany in World War I. 英国在第一次世界大战与法国一起对德作战。

2. 表示“为……而奋斗、斗争或战斗等”，通常与介词 for 连用或与不定式连用。如：

有时接介词 about, over 表示“为……而争吵或相争”。如：
