active用法三注意

1. 可用作表语和定语

Although he is over 80, he is still very active. 他虽然年过80岁，但他还是很活跃。

He is one of the most active members of the club. 他是这个俱乐部最活跃的成员之一。

2. be active in 积极参加

He is active in politics. 他积极参加政治活动。

He is becoming more and more active in sports. 他越来越积极参加体育运动。

The late Primer Minister is still quite active in politics. 前任总理在政界仍然相当活跃。

3. 在 take part in (参加)这一短语中，part前通常不用冠词，但若有了 active 的修饰，则要有 an：

He takes an active part in school activities. 他积极参加学校各项活动(from www.yywords.com)。

He urged all concerned to take an active part in the work. 他敦促所有有关的人都积极参加这项工作。

They urged all concerned to take an active part in the movement. 他们号召所有有关的人积极参加这个运动。
